This reminds me of doing a meme run in Pokerogue and getting ridiculously walled by a Boss Tentacruel infinite tokens and recovery, and trying to find a way around the AI to get through it without using my Master Ball (favorite pokemon of the scenario). After like an hour of trying to figure it out I just admitted to myself that using Master Ball and moving on with a fully healed team to the next big battle was more important than preserving the ball I was saving for so many hours of playing to catch something special. Cold decision, but had to be done.

FYI for anyone that cares: at 36:47 he mentions that his strategy with Flash Fire didnt work. This is because in FRLG the AI is bugged, once it confirms an ability, it thinks all pokemon have that ability until a new ability is confirmed. So in this case, once flash fire triggers, the pokemon all stop using fire type moves entirely, at least until a new ability is confirmed (ie intimidate triggers)

While the UA-cam algorithm is kinda weird in what it suggests when binging your content, this video is one of your bangers in my opinion. :D Really like the positive attitude towards a singular run and attempt, not going for the W of the whole thing but enjoying the ride instead. Sure, some rides won't be as great. But this one with the great narrative keeping up the tension? I hope you'll have more challenging Pokemon Runs to do that you'll enjoy, so that footage for vids like this exist. :D Just don't torture urself too much, the single runs need to be enjoyable too.
